Hal Jones, DDS
Dr. Hal Jones was born and raised in Chattanooga, and graduated from Central High school. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
He graduated with high honors with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. While there he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the Richard and Marguerite Dean Honorary Odontological Society.
He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. He then completed a fellowship at the Oral Surgical Institute in Nashville.
Shortly after training he achieved his board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Jones maintains staff privileges at all local hospitals.
He is a member of the Chattanooga Area Dental Society (President 2011-12), Tennessee Dental Association and American Dental Association. He is active in the Tennessee Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (President 1997-98), Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Outside the office, Dr. Jones cherishes time spent with his family. He enjoys travel, photography, inshore and offshore sport fishing, and the occasional round of golf.
